|  The Graviers have worked in Appalachia with Heaven Sent Ministries since January 2005. Prior to that, Mike was involved in international sports ministry, and earlier yet, he was a college football coach. He is the primary contact person for anyone inquiring about a mission trip to Appalachia, and he provides hands-on leadership for teams that join us for a week or a weekend. Lynda is a former CPA who uses her administrative skills in organizing schedules and activities for our mission teams, as well as assisting HSM with accounting tasks.
Anna (17) has developed a love and passion for the poor of Latin America, becoming fluent in Spanish and visiting Nicaragua, Honduras, and Dominican Republic for the purpose of reaching the people there with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Anna will graduate from high school this spring. Her future plan is to become a doctor and provide healthcare in Latin America. Kevin (nearly 14) is an 8th grader in our homeschool; he is currently exploring a career in architecture by shadowing at a local architecture firm. He is a valuable help with work projects and behind-the-scenes assistance with our visiting mission teams. Molly (12 in March) is in the 6th grade and has a love for the elderly and for animals. She is a natural on any of our outreach activities targeted to the elderly, and she currently volunteers one morning a week at a local veterinary clinic.
The Graviers welcome you to join with them in reaching the people of Appalachia. We love hosting mission teams to work alongside us here, and our passion is to see families work together to share the love and message of Jesus with the overlooked and the ignored here in West Virginia.
