Lynda Gravier has been with Heaven Sent Ministries since 2005 in several different roles, and now serves as our Hunger Challenge Director.
She says, "I am convinced that I have the best job in the world. As Hunger Challenge Director for Heaven Sent Ministries, I have the privilege of working with dedicated people who want to see the poor fed and the lost come to know Christ. Many days I cry. Some days I weep. Very often I am overwhelmed by the enormity of the task.”
“But some days, I smile. And once in a while I get off the phone and throw my hands in the air and announce, ‘God is good!’ to whoever will listen. Because on a regular basis, I get to see God do amazing things as he usesordinary people to reflect his love and his glory in many corners of theworld.”
Lynda is married to Mike Gravier, head coach of the Bluefield College Ramsfootball team. They have three children, Anna -- a junior at Duke Universitystudying Spanish and preparing to apply to medical schools; Kevin -- ajunior in high school who takes his classes at Bluefield College and enjoyshis part-time job at the local library; and Molly -- freshman at Princeton High School who loves playing fast-pitch softball.
