Work with established missionaries in Honduras in the busy industrial city of San Pedro Sula (the second largest in Honduras). Assist with the “soup kitchen” type ministry which reaches out to the many extremely poor and homeless of this city. Come and serve the eighty or more people that come to relax, take a shower and enjoy a hot meal. Share the love of Christ by praying for and worshiping with these people. Many are drug addicts that need to be encouraged that all things are possible through Christ who strengthens us.
Visit two orphanages – one a private Christian home to approximately 20 children and the other a state run institute for girls aged 11 – 17 which is home to approximately 60.
Enjoy a look at the countryside of Honduras (time permitting) and see the diversity of this very poor country. Meet the warm and wonderful people of this place and you’ll see why those that come want to return.

Please remember that you will be traveling in a foreign country. Things do not always go as we plan. Flights get delayed, immigration doesn't go as smoothly as we hope, busses are late, the orphanage you wanted to visit may not be taking visitors the day you are available. The best way to handle this is to be flexible.
Keep in mind that you are there to serve the missionaries and assist them in their ministry. Allow God to work through you, not for you. In the end, you will have a greater experience than you could ever imagine.
